Today, April 11, we have taken a significant step in our commitment to the local community by introducing our new Corporate Social Responsibility program: VIGÍAS. This project reflects our firm commitment to social, environmental and cultural causes, strengthening our ties with the Fuengirola community.
When talking about VIGÍAS, we talk about “Internal Values that Generate Initiatives and Solidarity Actions”, marking a milestone in our efforts to generate a continuous positive impact in the city. With this program, we position ourselves as an agent of change, integrating ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) initiatives under a solid and recognizable brand.
The presentation event included the participation of Doña Ana Mula, mayor of Fuengirola, Claudia Hernández, president of the Fuengirola Red Cross, Paqui Lebron, President of AFA Fuengirola and Daniel Vallecillos, President of Fuensocial.
During the presentation, several videos were shown detailing the actions planned for this year, with special emphasis on the implementation of the solar farm; a key initiative in environmental matters.
With VIGÍAS, at Miramar Shopping Center we continue to consolidate our commitment to the community of Fuengirola and lay the foundations for a more sustainable and supportive future.
SEEKERS in depth
A lookout detects before anyone else where their help is needed, which sectors, initiatives or people need a hand to move forward. At Miramar Shopping Center we consider ourselves lookouts because no matter how small the problem, the area or the person, we will be there to see it.
The activities that will be carried out within the framework of VIGÍAS are divided into 3 large blocks: People, Community and Environment.
