February is coming to an end and, at last, Semana Blanca is here and, with it, Andalusia Day. It is the time to take out the flag of our land and enjoy our gastronomy and leisure time (although, let’s face it, we already do that the rest of the year).
In addition, during Semana Blanca, the kids take a break from school to enjoy a mini-holiday, and where better than Miramar to enjoy it?
You’ve probably wondered about the origin of Semana Blanca and why it’s not present in all the provinces of our country. The answer is simple: it serves to compensate for the fact that local public holidays coincide with the summer months.
In the case of Malaga, the fair is held in August, which means that those holidays are transferred to the Semana Blanca, always including the Day of Andalusia.
At Miramar Kids we have 100% free activities for the little ones to enjoy while you’re shopping, they’ll be having so much fun they won’t want to leave!
Shopping has never been easier than with Miramar Kids and its special programme for Semana Blanca, which includes both morning and afternoon hours, allowing children to enter fantastic worlds through storytelling, enjoy magic, be amazed by science… And many more activities!

*Open from Monday to Saturday except 28th February, we take the day off to celebrate with the family between hymns and bread with oil!
