Yesterday the cheque was handed over to the Red Cross in the Miramar Shopping Centre. This donation is the result of the proceeds from the charity gift wrapping stand that was in operation during the last Christmas campaign plus a contribution of €2,000 that the Centre wanted to add as a result of its commitment to the association.
The initiative gave visitors the opportunity to take their gifts home wrapped in a special way by Red Cross volunteers, with the option of making a free donation. This gesture of help and generosity on the part of the stand users has made it possible for the proceeds to go to the most vulnerable families in Fuengirola.
