In May, we want to do our bit to help several charities in the province of Malaga. All month Saturdays, our Young Charters in Charity will work on the terrace at Miramar Shopping Centre, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
You may be wondering, what in the world is this? Read below and find out!
In Miramar’s terrace, several charities will offer products and services in exchange for a donation. These are the charities collaborating and the services and products they will offer:
o Fundación Vicente Ferrer: get beautiful handmade products made by women from India in exchange for a donation.
o Fundación Cirhma: your donation can be exchanged for recycled soaps or a massage.
o Fundación Traiña: support them with a donation and get a nice arts & crafts product in exchange.
o Mechones Solidarios: you can have your hair cut in exchange for a donation.
o Acae: make a donation, and they will reward your generosity with a funny clown nose. ☺
We also want children to participate in this activity and learn about the importance of these social actions. In our central stand, we will open an arts & crafts workshop for children (free of charge), offering six handicrafts to choose from. Each activity will be related to one of the charities participating in this event.
For example, for the Fundación Vicente Ferrer, carrying out its activities in India, children will paint colourful mandalas.
