On Saturday 23 June we have a terrific plan, and you cannot miss out on it. The Cover Bands event lands at Miramar shopping centre this summer. Live music, children workshops and activities, tea corners and many more surprises!
Miramar terrace travels to England and will turn the centre into a real street event explosion. We’ll recreate the most typical British scenarios, including green areas featuring typical British products. Everything will be surrounded by a London atmosphere that you’ll love, liven up with acoustic music and live concerts that will make your visit more pleasant.
Besides, if you visit our Cover Bands, you’ll get a glass jar with lid and straw, customised for this event. You just have to show that you downloaded the free app by Miramar shopping centre for iOS or Android. Don’t be the only one who doesn’t have one!
Visit our areas:
Area I (opposite H&M): Here we’ll recreate typical London corners, with the typical red telephone box from this British city. You’ll even meet the ‘very same’ Queen of the United Kingdom and her Royal Guard. You’ll be able to take a picture with them and post it to Instagram to join a raffle of two gift cards worth €50 each.
Area II (terrace): Our terrace area will be decorated with vegetable ornaments, recreating the typical British parks, where you’ll be able to enjoy live music and different children activities. The band will play versions of bands like The Beatles or The Rolling Stones among others. Also, our handsome British gentleman will serve you typical tea on our tea corner.
Area III (terrace): For the youngest at home, we’ve prepared an area with workshops, where they’ll be able to create the typical British headdresses like top hats and headbands that they’ll wear in our horse races, in the purest Ascot style.
Opening hours on Saturday 23 June:
• Area I: from 11 am to 2 pm and from 4 pm to 9 pm.
• Area II: from 7 pm to 9 pm.
• Area III: from noon to 2 pm and from 6 pm to 9 pm.
