Next Friday, 5 June, Centro Comercial Miramar will hold the 1st Miramar Handball Tournament on its terrace, a charity event organised in collaboration with Colegio San Francisco de Asís and its handball school.
The event will take place on the Miramar terrace, in an area specially prepared so that the school’s boys and girls can enjoy an afternoon of sport, togetherness and solidarity.
During the event, courts will be set up for circuits and matches, scheduled between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm. The activity is part of the closing day of the Handball School of Colegio San Francisco de Asís and will include the participation of its pupils.
In addition, at the end of the tournament, medals will be awarded to all participants and there will be surprises courtesy of Centro Comercial Miramar.
A charity tournament in support of AFA Fuengirola-Mijas Costa
The Miramar Handball Tournament has a charitable purpose. The funds raised through participants’ contributions will be donated to AFA Fuengirola-Mijas Costa, the Association of Relatives and People with Alzheimer’s.
With this collaboration, Miramar reinforces its commitment to local initiatives that combine sport, childhood and support for social organisations in the area.
Sport, togetherness and solidarity at Miramar
This first edition has been created as a joint initiative between Miramar and Colegio San Francisco de Asís to offer children a special afternoon centred around handball, highlighting the importance of sport as a space for connection, teamwork and participation.
The activity is aimed at pupils from the Handball School of Colegio San Francisco de Asís.
