Next Thursday, February 16, 2017, we will be able to enjoy the opera “Cosi Fan Tutte”, broadcast live. One of the great composer Mozart’s greatest work. This will be broadcast from the Opera of Paris (Palais Garnier), at 19.15h at our Cinesur Miramar.

In this opera we see how, promoted by Don Alfonso (an old cynical philosopher), two young idealists are prepared to test their lovers’ loyalty. Thus, love will end up teaching them a bitter lesson: those who believe themselves to be “phoenix birds” and “goddesses” will discover carnal desires …

In 1970, a year after the French Revolution and in which would be his last collaboration, Mozart and Da Ponte perform this “scientific love research”. As a result, the music of Cosi Fan Tutte is extremely exceptional; Complex in its symmetry, jovial, and with an almost sacred melancholy. We are faced with a laboratory of eroticism, which inspired choreographer Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker. With six singers and six dancers, it manages to capture the desire that unites and distances humans, which interactions between atoms that, once broken, make new connections possible.
